Your body is talking, are you listening? Or are you bypassing you own internal compass? Yes, we have a built in navigation tool and we tend to not listen to it. Our personal GPS (Guaranteed Personal Safety, ha!) When we feel safe “we begin to translate the memories that previously overwhelmed them into language” (sentence from Bessel Van Der Kolk’s: The Body Keeps The Score). Your GPS will only work if we allow all the roads, tunnels, bridges and rivers to make sense in relation to each other. If we start separating each part from the whole we won’t be able to see WHRE we are going, WHERE we came from or HOW to get TO THE NEXT DESTINATION.
This same concept translates to body-mind coaching. As above in the quote by Besser Can Ser Kolk, once we can actually FEEL what is happening in our body we are able to put that into words which may be the HOW of a personalized action plan, aka rewiring a mindset for sustainable results.
