About Us

TaoMassage has been serving the Monmouth County community with unparalleled service since 2005. We earned the award, by public vote, the 2009 & 2010 “One of the Best” massage businesses in Monmouth County.

In 2010 TaoMassage expanded to 2116 Sunset Avenue. With this move TaoMassage added the tag line “Dynamic Living Center" to its name. Our new space not only accommodates private enclosed massage therapy rooms in a peaceful, clean environment, but a large room for movement classes and other educational classes that will help our community create and experience a DYNAMIC LIFE!

TaoMassage offers a variety of massage techniques that are blended to create a customized massage session. Our Director, Vivian Taormina specializes in Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, a deep compressive style massage delivered by Vivian’s feet, aka…she “walks on your back”.

We only work with highly trained, qualified therapists that have been active massage therapists for years. Whomever you choose to work with toward reaching your health goals, know that you will be in “good hands” or if you work with the Director Vivian Taormina, “in good feet”.

TaoMassage only uses the highest grade scented or unscented body oils and creams from natural and organic sources that are preservative free and chemical free. All linens are 100% cotton or cotton flannel for optimal comfort. Linens are washed in a non-polluting, biodegradable, cruelty-free washing liquid that is free from artificial fragrances/perfumes, dyes/colors and phosphates—gentle on all skin types.

People often ask, "What kind of massage is a TaoMassage?” It really isn’t a type of massage we offer but it is our business name, inspired by the first three letters of the Director’s last name: Taormina. It was a natural progression to use it as the company name as it also embodies the spirit of the Tao: balance and movement. However, as you will experience a TaoMassage is like no other.
